When I’m not hitting the books, you can find me working for my environmental organization, MEVO (www.mevoearth.org), running NYU’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, or practicing yoga. I also have a deep love for hiking, listening to folk music, and my corgi, Gracie! I’m so excited to spend this year with all of you, and help you give back to the various communities we connect with in this fantastic city! Peace & Vegetables.

    • Bio: I am a second year Carlyle Resident Assistant pursuing a career in media and entertainment. I love being an RA because it has given me the opportunity to meet a diverse array of people within the NYU student body and develop my understanding of what it means to
create a community. In my free time, I can be found listening to music in my room, watching trashy reality TV shows at the Resource Center, shopping, and exploring new parts of the city!

    • Hometown: Marlboro, NY
    • School/Major: Gallatin, Socially Conscious Media
    • Bio: I am a current junior in Gallatin concentrating in Socially Conscious Media (Working Title). At least, that’s what I tell my advisor. My top three favorite things are food, food, and food. You can usually find me watching a documentary, cooking an overly elaborate, organic, gluten free, lactose free concoction or contemplating going to the gym (always an idea, never really a concrete action). In another life, I’d like to be Blue Ivy Carter. Feel free to introduce yourself, but chances are I’ll have already said hi first.

    • Tower/Floors: C2, Floors 6 & 7
    • Hometown: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
    • School/Major: Double major in Tisch Drama & CAS Economics
    • Bio: Greetings from the great white north! I am currently a senior at Strasberg, and while I have a huge passion for performing, especially singing, I enjoy the production and management aspects of the entertainment industry. My favorite holiday is Christmas, when I accept gifts of shoes, puppies and chocolate :). If I am not in Carlyle or in class, you will find me at the gym, in the park or exploring one of the other boroughs!

    • Hometown: Shanghai, China
    • School/Major: CAS, Art History
    • Bio: I enjoy horseback riding, canoeing, and running during my free time, but my interests cover a wide range: from sports to theatre, from traveling to reading, etc. As a foodie, my goal is to try all the delicious food in the city and find out Lady M’s secret recipe. I decided to become an RA because I love talking to people, so feel free to discuss whatever with me since I am super open-minded and interested in hearing different stories from different people!
  • Josh Schneider
  • josh
    • Tower/Floors: C2, Floors 10, 11, & 12
    • Hometown: New York, NY
    • School/Major: CAS, Premed/Developmental
    • Bio: Hey folks! So, here is a snapshot of what makes me tick (seriously, this is like a sliver of what y’all are gonna get to know): I am a rising senior at CAS, a research assistant in an infancy development lab, a fabulous dancer (I like to think so, at least), a really good cook (that one I know for sure), pretty creative, goal-oriented, and a determined individual. I am a native New Yorker and have a bunch of tips & tricks that make living in NYC much easier (and cheaper). Oh, also – I can speak 4 languages & my favorite TV show is The Golden Girls (no blurb would be complete without fun facts, duh)! With that, I just wanted to add that I am very excited to be working here at Carlyle this year, and I hope to add something new and unconventional to our little NYU bubble! Okie, I’m done now – Bye!

    • Bio: Hello! I’m Tommy Craven, and I’ve told I’m a tall glass of distilled water. I’m happy to be the RA for the Food for Thought Exploration floor at Carlyle Court. On the side, I love netflixing on my beanbag, biking in the crisp wind along the water, and writing screenplays about sexy stuff. I aspire to be an activist filmmaker by day and “the fun” dad by night somewhere warmer than New York City.
  • Nicole Prisco
  • Nicole

    • Hometown: Ronkonkoma, NY (Long Island)
    • School/Major: Steinhardt, Music Education
    • Bio: Hey! I’m Nicole and I’m stoked to be the RA for the 5th and 6th floor of C3. I’m a senior in Steinhardt studying Music Education with a concentration in classical voice. I was adopted from South Korea and grew up on (not in) Long Island, NY. Being in the city for 3 going on 4 years has been the most exciting and liberating part of my life. In my spare time, I like to play video games, go for a run, watch Sherlock, and dream about spending more time in Europe. Come say hi!
  • Madeline Dolgin
  • Terri
    • Tower/Floors: C3, Floors 7 & 8
    • Hometown: Scottsdale, AZ
    • School/Major: Gallatin, Fashion Business
    • Bio: I’m Madeline, a Gallatin junior studying ethical fashion production and design.  I’m passionate about recycled fashion, mindful living, and multi-faith dialogue. I love attending cultural festivals and markets and just got back from a semester abroad in London! I frequent yoga and dance studios and love to window shop, so if that’s your thing definitely join me for some outings! Feel free to pop in to my room for some tea or just to chat! Looking forward to a great semester!
  • Katerina Rodriguez
  • Kat
    • Tower/Floors: C3, Floors 9 & 10
    • Hometown: North Bergen, NJ
    • School/Major: Stern: Global Business & Marketing
    • Bio: Hola! My name is Katerina, and I’m a junior at Stern. On campus, I am an Admissions Ambassador and part of the executive board of the Marketing Society. I am obsessed with dogs, short track speed skating, and urban art. You can find me most often singing in the practice room or glued to the TV watching soccer matches (Go Real Madrid!). Anything and everything about Spanish culture fascinates me and will most definitely cause me to start speaking in Spanish! Can’t wait to meet you! Adios 🙂
  • Spencer Shafter
  • Spencer
    • Tower/Floors: C3 Floors 11, 12, & PH
    • Hometown: Originally from Charlo, Montana (Yes that’s a real place)
    • School/Major: Steinhardt, Music Technology
    • Bio: So I once lived in Montana where there were more cows than people and everything was beautiful. I came to New York for the millions of people, crowded streets, noisy cars, expensive food… no wait, the AMAZING opportunities that the city offers. Seriously, I love New York City and NYU. I’ll be a senior here this year studying music technology and computer science. I’m kind of a nerd in that regard, but a musician at heart so that balances out in the end. I’ll be working on our programming team here, hosting fun events like regular open mic nights in Carlyle and keeping everyone up to date on the stuff our awesome staff has planned! …oh yeah & I also ride a scooter…and am not ashamed one bit.

  1. My brother suggested I might like this web site. He was totally right.
This post truly made my day. You can not imagine
just how much time I had spent for this information! Thanks!

  2. Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if
blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get
guidance from someone with experience. Any help would
    be enormously appreciated!
